Shannon Robertson, a Lifetime Master Certified Professional in Financial Services, is the Executive Director at the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP). Since joining AFIP in 2016, Shannon has been instrumental in streamlining operational structures and processes. He’s always looking for innovative ways AFIP can support its members, agents and dealers.

Shannon Robertson, a Master Certified Professional in Financial Services, is the executive vice president at the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP). In a little over four years at AFIP, Shannon has been instrumental in streamlining operational structures and processes. He’s always looking for innovative ways AFIP can support its members, agents and dealers. Shannon initiated AFIP’s participation in DealAuditor.

A natural trainer, Shannon also conducts AFIP certification boot camps. Many of his ideas for service enhancements, such as a visual tool that makes training even more accessible to boot camp attendees, come from feedback in the field.

Before joining AFIP, Shannon gained 13 years of experience in financial services at Fidelity Investments. When he left Fidelity, he was a managing director overseeing an $800 million book of business representing 52 clients.

Before his time at Fidelity Investments, Shannon gained automotive experience working for D&M Leasing as a leasing consultant. Earlier in his career, he worked at AFIP as the member benefits coordinator and office manager – while also providing customer service support.

Before joining the workforce, Shannon completed a two-year mission of service in the Philippines, where he became fluent in Tagalog and held leadership and training responsibilities.

Adam Crowell is President & General Counsel to ComplyNet, the leading provider of end-to-end 
compliance and risk mitigation and compliance services in the automotive industry. Adam is a frequent contributor in numerous industry publications and newsletters and a speaker on the local, state, and national levels.

(NADC), and the Association of Dealership Compliance Officers (ADCO).


Prior to joining ComplyNet, Adam managed a law firm’s dealership practice group, served as in-house 
counsel to an automotive facility, and was involved in automotive manufacturer-direct retail sales 
litigation
